About Atlas

Language Lab

We teach Spanish and Japanese online from Denver, Colorado, and plan every lesson around the person on the other side of the screen.

Denver roots.

Online everywhere.

Our story

Two languages.

One lab in Denver.

Atlas Language Lab is a tutoring business for two languages: Spanish and Japanese.

We are based in Denver, Colorado, and every lesson happens online. A learner down the street and a learner far from the Rockies get the same tutor time, the same plan and the same attention.

Learners come to us at one of three levels: Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced. Some have never said a word of Spanish or Japanese. Others studied years ago and want it back, or need it for a trip, a job or a JLPT level. We work out where you are first, then build from that point.

A lab is a place to try things, and that is how our lessons run. You try a phrase out loud, hear how it lands, adjust it with your tutor, and try again, until speaking feels normal.

How we work

What sets us apart.

01

Two languages, full focus

Spanish and Japanese are what we teach. Your lessons stay on the language you chose, start to finish.

02

Clear levels

Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced, shown against CEFR and JLPT ranges, so you know where you stand and what comes next.

03

Talking comes first

Lessons are built around speaking. You practice out loud with your tutor, with grammar and vocabulary brought in as you need them.

04

Denver-based, online

We schedule in Mountain Time and teach over video, so you can join from home, from work or from the road.
